Week 2 Header 101

For this week, I explored this online - diy - design - your - own - logo website and I finally made a really cute header to go with my cute blog.

First, you can go to https://www.canva.com/ and make an account to use the website for free. I would recommend linking and your gmail or Facebook to this website for easier log - in process for future use, You wouldn't have to contact the customer service if you were to forgot your password.

Secondly, click on the 'Create Design' button and click on 'custom dimensions', here you would have to enter the width and height of your desired header. For my blog, my width was 1100 and 300 for height. When you're done, you would have to click on the 'Create Design' button at the bottom.

You can decorate your header using the tools located at the left side on the screen. A variety of choices are available for everyone. You can add words with fonts, a background and a picture.

You could also decorate your header using animated stickers located on the left side of the page. Here, you could find all types of stickers to use on your header. You could also adjust the angle of the sticker and the size of it. This feature also goes to the 'text' option as well as the 'picture' option.

If you would like to keep your art work offline, you would have to download them. To do that, you would have to click on the down - right button situated on the left side upper corner of the website. Just click on the 'download' button and your artwork would be saved on your desktop.

The Canva website could be really fun and a good practice on editing if you are interested in the media department.  However, not everything on canva is free. Try getting your parents to subscribe to their yearly plan to get the best of the website. Happy trying!

Week 1 Hello People! 🙋‍♀️

Hi <3

My name is Hanis Najwa and I am in my 7th semester student at KUPTMKL. Here's a little sneak peek on my background, goals and future plans.

I was born in the heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. I strongly believe that Kuala Lumpur is one of the popular cities that is thriving and evolving to be better. I spent my first year in Johor with my grandparents when my parents had first divorced. Things were rough for my mother and she had thought that it would be better to shove me in a box and shift me half way across the country. When I was residing in Johor, I stayed in a small village called 'Bukit Ramun' in Kulai. I was and still am the favorite grandchild.

My parents are divorced and I now go back and forth from Klang to Ara Damansara with my only sister. I have 2 step siblings from my mother's marriage and 4 step siblings from my father's marriage. My mother is working as a sales manager in a fire fighting company and is doing well despite of how bored she is at her job. My father? Well, that is something that we will all be wondering on since I've never really got an honest answer from since since I was 12.

When I was in highschool, I enrolled in Sri Aman Girls School and joined the orchestra club. Since then, I've discovered my passion in music. As of today, I can play the piano, guitar, viola, ukulele and the drums. The only instrument that I had formal education was only the piano and the viola. The rest was self - learnt thank to the internet.

I really like to read up about skincare reviews and tips on this blog this blog that I discovered a year ago. I've been battling with acne since I was 14 and still am struggling with trying to clear up my face. This blog really helps me to decide on what does my skin needs.
